BIZconneCKt - Hosting/Fee

Hosting

The format of BIZconneCKt is to provide a casual, light atmosphere with the focus on business while providing an opportunity for the guests to visit one on one with the hosts and sponsors of the evening.

To successfully host a BIZconneCKt, the following criteria must be met:

• Must be a Chamber member in good standing.
• Have space to accommodate approximately 30-50 guests. A site visit by a Committee Member may be required prior to hosting confirmation.
• Provide exclusive use of premises from 4:30 p.m. — 6:00 p.m.
• Provide: I registration table, 1 X $50.00 Gift Card, 1 table for the hors d’oeuvres and a beverage sales space (unless otherwise notified).
• On-sight P.A. system or advise otherwise in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made.
• Coat racks available (weather dependant)
• Have garbage bins/recycling bins available
• Removal of tables/chairs in order to allow standing room to promote networking atmosphere.
• Provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres and food supplies from 4:30 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. Please note: As guests will be arriving at varied times and enjoying an ‘after work’ beverage, a nice balance & selection is important.
• It is POLICY of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce that you serve beer, wine, pop and water. All alcoholic drinks must be charged at a cost to the guests. Coolers are optional. No complimentary alcoholic beverages and / or free drink tickets can be given.
• Pay hosting fee of $225* and provide a copy of the catering licence to the Chamber office minimum 45 days prior to event if using for bartending alcohol services and sales or $375.00* (includes mandatory Special Occasions Permit)
